The Distinguished Arab Women Award
An annual event in order to introduce the achievements of Arab women in the various fields of work and document their scientific and practical achievements in order to highlight their artistic, cultural and scientific creativity and provide a bright image of them in regional and international forums. This award is based on open nomination mechanisms for all women and neutral arbitration and depends on the criteria of achievement and excellence in responsibility down to Degree of distinction. This award was launched at its first session in 2004 from the Arab League, under the patronage and encouragement of His Excellency the Secretary General Professor Amr Moussa In order to expand the contents and implications of this award, it was decided to hold a ceremony to present the award in every session in one of the Arab capitals, and this event became the most important Arab award through which Arab women distinguished in the fields of work and creativity are varied.
