The Arab Women Authority organizes the Emirati Women’s Forum, Achievement and glory

Yesterday, the Arab Women Authority held the Emirati Women’s Forum in Jumeirah, Dubai, in the presence and patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, who delivered the keynote speech at the opening in which she stressed that the unparalleled support that Emirati women received from the wise leadership was a strong impetus for the development of women’s participation in Decision-making bodies and their involvement in the market.

Sheikha Al Qasimi also praised the development and humanitarian initiatives, projects and programs of the Arab Women Authority for the benefit of women in the least developed countries.

The media office of the Arab Women Authority said in a press statement that Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, Secretary-General of the Arab Women Authority, delivered a speech in which he expressed the admiration and praise of Arab and international organizations for the high percentages achieved by Emirati women in the annual reports issued by the Arab Women Authority in the scope of parliamentary and governmental participation and leadership positions. The level of senior management in institutions and companies has become

 competitive with the same percentages in the Scandinavian countries.

Al-Dulaimi added that what His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect them, has contributed to women in the Emirates assuming this prestigious position and constructive role.

Al-Dulaimi praised the support and encouragement provided by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Emirates, to Emirati women for decades, which was a reason for their involvement in education and the labor market. In the dialogue session moderated by Dr. Lina Abu Baker, Executive Director of the Arab Women Authority, she presented:

– Dr. Ibtisam Al Mazrouei – expert in Artificial Intelligence.

– Dr. Sumaya Al Balushi – Director of Nursing Department – Emirates Health Services Corporation.

– Dr. Hawazen Khedr – Microbiological examination Specialist.

– Ms. Zainab Al Kaabi, General Manager of Fujairah Hotels Corporation

– Ms. Aisha Ruwayma, Producer at the International News Center – Sharjah Radio and Television Authority.

They expressed their great appreciation for the encouragement and motivation they received from officials. They also stressed that Emirati and Arab women are capable of achieving success, building their capabilities, and overcoming difficulties with a strong will for the advancement and progress of their nations.

The event was attended by Dr. Saif Al Jabri, President of the Union of Arab Academics and Scientists, a number of female figures and leaders in the country, and a number of media figures and influencers in the social media space.
