The Arab Women Authority has announced the selection of Rehab Lootah, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of National Bonds Group, as a Goodwill Ambassador for Women and the children.
The media office of the Arab Women Authority said in a press statement that was announced today, that Lootah has been selected for the mission of Goodwill Ambassador for Women and Children as the first Arab and Emirati woman to be entrusted with this noble mission to support the needs of women and children in less developed countries, especially in the fields of health care, education and capacity building.
For his part, Muhammad Al-Dulaimi, Secretary-General of the Arab Women Authority, praised the decision of appointing Rehab Lootah as Goodwill Ambassador and expressed his appreciation for her great pride in her professional career and successes in all positions and the leadership she possess, through which she embodied the values of loyalty and love of the country while engaging in humanitarian work.
For her part, Lootah expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Arab Women Authority and expressed that this assignment will place me in a position to handle a big responsibility to double efforts to support humanitarian and development work with initiatives and projects that would raise the status of women and children, especially in countries where Women suffer from weak capabilities and fragility of health systems.
Lootah added that the fields of work are in order to take care of the reality of women on a broader and larger scale, especially in the areas of health, education and training.
The ceremony of awarding Ambassador Rehab Lootah with the embassy scarf and the delivery of the commissioning letter will be organized later in Dubai in the presence of prominent figures, women leaders and media figures.
