The Secretary-General is the head of the General Secretariat, which includes the Authority‘s employees working at the headquarters and work centers in all the organization’s external offices and headquarters in other countries.
The Arab Women Authority‘s employees at the General Secretariat headquarters and offices and headquarters in other countries are appointed by the General Secretariat.
The General Secretariat carries out the work of the Arab Women Authority, managing daily operations under the Secretary-General, with local and international offices.

Arab Women Authority Strategy 2050
This is a comprehensive plan aiming to empower women and promote their leadership across various sectors, with a focus on strengthening their participation in decision-making bodies and achieving gender balance and equality in all domains.
Women’s Empowerment in the Labor Market
The strategy seeks to increase women’s participation in the workforce, especially in future-oriented sectors such as artificial intelligence and information technology, to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
Women’s Capacity Building
The strategy aims to upgrade women’s skills and prepare them to keep pace with the vast transformations in the realm of the knowledge economy and sustainable development.
Implementation of Developmental and Humanitarian Projects
The strategy seeks to forge effective and long-term partnerships with funding entities and philanthropic institutions to implement health, education, and humanitarian relief projects tailored to the needs of women in least developed countries, regardless of race, religion, or color.
