The First Arab Lady Award

The First Arab Lady Award is a pioneering initiative launched by the Arab Women Authority under the auspices of the Arab League in 2004. It is recognized as one of the most prestigious Arab awards, presented every four years to one of the foremost and distinguished women in the Arab world including daughters of Arab leaders with the aim of highlighting their achievements and contributions to developmental, humanitarian, and creative initiatives that serve and advance Arab communities.
The award also seeks to mobilize the efforts of leading women who have a strong presence in supporting and encouraging the participation of Arab women in public life. The Arab Women Authority organizes a ceremony in collaboration with the Arab League, attended by prominent figures, to express high appreciation for the recipients’ efforts in supporting and sponsoring events, programs, and activities related to empowering Arab women in education, employment, civic engagement, and scientific and artistic creativity.
